I can't think of a better quote that describe this sweet couple, Pauline & Andrew - A couple that values their time together ; a couple that can't imagine not being together with each other; a couple that want to spend their the simple, the best, the most enjoyable moments together.
We had a lovely morning in a quiet park in Toyama. It was just after the rain, so the park was really quiet. It was just oji-sans strolling in the park with their curious puppies. The fall colors were breathtaking, almost at their peak. We later on went to Shirakawago, and as we exited the tunnels near Shirakawago, the weather changed dramatically. As we exited the tunnels, we were greeted by snowfall. Definitely lots of squeaks of excitement in the car.
Shirakawago, as always, was charming. It was definitely a rare occasion to see snow in the middle of fall. I'm glad that this lovely couple got to experience this unique experience, to add to their collection of lovely memories in Japan.
